The Investment & Trade Calculator (the "App") is a professional-grade utility suite providing 12 financial models for traders and investors. This policy explains how we handle data generated through our features, including the Trade Journal and Smart Save workflows.
2. Information Collection and Use
To provide high-precision financial calculations, the App processes user-inputted data.
Financial Input Data: The App processes numerical data entered for calculations such as Entry Price, Stop Loss, and Monthly Investment.
"Smart Save" & Journaling: When you use the "Save Analysis" feature, the App collects a custom record name provided by you.
Automated Naming: If a name is not provided, the system generates a title using the calculator type and a numerical counter (e.g., 'Recovery Calculator 1').
Categorization: Saved records are concatenated using a hyphenated naming convention (e.g., 'SIP Planning - Retirement 2040') for organization within the Trade Journal.
3. Data Storage and Persistence
Local Persistence: All records saved via the Smart Save modal are stored in the Trade Journal repository.
Data Integrity: We do not modify your saved calculation outputs or core mathematical results.
4. User Interface and Accessibility
Keyboard Management: The App implements an "outside-tap" listener to dismiss the software keyboard, ensuring input fields are not obscured during data entry.
Theme Synchronization: To maintain visibility, all saved record text and UI elements dynamically adjust font colors to match your system’s Light or Dark mode.
5. Financial Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
Estimate Basis: Calculations provided by the 12 models—including Profit/Loss, Position Sizing, and Margin—are estimates based on user inputs and do not constitute financial advice.
Inflation Forecasts: The Inflation Impact Calculator provides a "Value in Today's Money" metric, which is a mathematical representation of purchasing power and not a guarantee of future economic conditions.
Brokerage Verification: The Brokerage Calculator estimates net returns; however, users should always verify results against official broker commissions and statutory taxes.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be reflected in the app and on the official hosting page.
7. Data Deletion and Retention
All data generated by the Investment & Trade Calculator, including records in the Trade Journal, is stored locally on your device.
User Control: You can delete any saved record at any time directly within the Trade Journal feature.
Full Deletion: Uninstalling the App or clearing the App's data via your device settings will permanently remove all saved analysis and journal entries.
